In addition to consulting with individual students and families, College Goals' consultants work with foundations and institutions of higher learning interested in creating dynamic college admissions services for their students. These organizations, domestic and international, understand that the American college application process confronts their students with a system that is increasingly fraught with bureaucratic demands and philosophical challenges.Furthermore, international schools are conscious that while students in domestic schools are at least exposed to the protocols of this process and able to make easy use of existing pathways to guide them to college admission, international students face a whole minefield of additional challenges. Moreover, while these institutions wish to assist students with very practical help in negotiating that obstacle course, they are also acutely sensitive to the need for such counseling to adhere strictly to guidelines of ethical conduct and professional standards.
